Friday, September 1, 2017 — With Fall just around the corner, InnoGames released the September episode of its InnoGames TV today. The approximately 6-minute-long video features a new topic for Elvenar, the Fall Event for Forge of Empires and a new addition to the endgame in Tribal Wars 2.
Elvenar starts the show off with game designer Timon and artist Rike introducing a new ingame mechanic called Fellowship Adventures. This co-op feature allows players to work together as a team to master three stages on the brand-new adventure map. Fellowships will need to play the different paths in the map strategically as they vary gameplay-wise, with some requiring more resources or activities from your teammates. The goal is to finish the map three times within a given time limit. Every time a player finishes, everyone who contributed from the fellowship will be rewarded.
On their end, game designers Thi and Kai from the Forge of Empires team show off their revamped Fall Event. This year the event offers three additions to the game: a new fall event window, three fall questlines and the return of the social apple planting mechanic. Players can gather apples or complete quests for a chance to win the Cider Mill workshop which they can upgrade up to three times over the course of the event.
Finally, Ricardo the Lead Community Manager for Tribal Wars 2 reveals a new addition to the endgame: Victory Points. From now on players will be able to receive these points for each village they capture in a province. While members of a guild and their enemies can receive points in the same provinces, players are granted one Victory Point per presence in province.
Through its monthly video podcast, InnoGames provides the community with the latest news about its games. While the host speaks English, nine languages are available via subtitles on YouTube.
